Ethiopia has a wide range of vegan and vegetarian recipes thanks to it’s long history of religious fasting which requires followers to adhere to a strict vegan lifestyle for over 100 days of the year. We serve all our ‘wots’ on traditional injera bread. A sourdough flatbread made from 100% Australian grown teff flour. It is gluten free and very unique.
We are a family business from Melbourne’s west, preparing the most delicious & fresh, gluten-free Ethiopian meat and vegan wots (curries/stews) served on our unique yet traditional style of sourdough flatbread called Injera! African food is the latest craze on socials and we love seeing people experience it for the first time. We source all our produce locally and make our injera using 100% Australian grown teff flour. Our chilled take home dinner packs are also very popular at farmers markets.
